Here's a brief overview of my XVS950 Bought new September - Miles 1000 Average MPG = 57 (WORST 55mpg BEST 59mpg) Maximum speed seen on Speedo = 112mph ( speedo over reads by approx 11%) True top speed around 100mph. Warranty work - Had speedo senser changed under warranty due to the over read - new is exactly the same. Mods. K&N air filter,Air box modified to pull in fresh cool air from under air box, silencer drilled out using 1" core drill and 14" extension, Cobra lighting bar with pr of 4" bates lights, rider back rest, puig screen, chrome upper belt guard, chrome side stand (off 1100 dragstar), chrome brake caliper cover trims, studded tank bib, yamaha fender trim set, highway hawk chrome side stand switch cover, chromed brake reservoir top, highway hawk indicator visor set, all allen key heads fitted with chromed caps. Bike is a great laugh to ride and very comfortable, footboard scrapping now perfected(great fun), 5th gear is a little to high as not fully happy to pull 5th cleanly until over 40mph. Finish looks to be very good but have invested in lots of ACF50 to protect it, may decide to underseal both mudguards to prevent any future rot setting in. Looking forward to hearing from you all.
