Hi everyone,

Sorry for the slow loading times over the last hours, the site was trying to be hacked, someone was trying to insert malicious files on to the network.

Nothing was affected, but we take great concern when we see anything inappropriate happening through the network and needed to ensure the site hadn't be exploited in any way. Our systems were scanning for any files possibly affected which slowed the site down considerably, no files were compromised.

Moving forward we are continuing to make improvements to our systems to enhance security, and minimise any disruptions to the YamahaClub. Thanks again for your patience.

There was a major attack on another website I use - had to be shut down for a while.

Why do they do it? Because they can?
