help ajusting clutch

Welcome corby . is that beside York ? , Now the cable " has it just the adjuster at handle bar end ? if so , U shud leave about 5 mm slack . between lever and stop, check to see thers no slip .[ on run] if thers slip , u may have to adjust down on the pushrod in side casing[ usually found in front of sprocket] slacken lock-nut . and back off screw, then screw in till just touching pushrod, tighten lock nut. , am asuming this model is the same as conventional clutches , wink.gif

hi bud corby just outside kettering ;)

ok ajusters on both end traditional on the hand lever and 2 nuts either side the bracket lower end

am sorry can you explain again for me?

am stupid lol

ive got the cable on but am sure its not ajusted correct as its dificult engaging neutral now

Dragging is the term,,,,, u need to adjust it up a little [ie tighten the screw . handle bar end, if this dont work . back the handle bar srew off totaly, [end of thread.] adjust bottom end , tighten. then adjust top end till clearing[ no dragg,] again shud be 5mm minimum slack at top,, Phew long winded ikno...cool.gif
