thebadger Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 Hi to all members. I'm completely new to Yamahas, having had mainly suzukis and kawasakis in the past. I have just purchased(over the internet) a 1998 Thunderace which has done 21k and has been self-serviced by the previous owner from new. I haven't even ridden the bike yet (which is a bit silly) but I liked the look/style of it and it seems to be the right price. The dealer has assured me it's in A1 condition. I like to know a bit about what I'm riding so I wondered if any of you guys know of any common faults/problems with these m/c's that I need to be aware of. Any imput will be greatly appreciated.
