Hi everyone can you please help I am in danger of stripping my x-max down to parts.

I am trying to do the simple task of replacing the headlights on my 2006 x-max yp250r. I have removed the Cowling from the front of the scooter as directed in the service manual (2 scews at the top and one at the bottom)this does allow me to get my hand in to touch the wire connecting to the bulb but this does not seem to provide enough access to change the bulb, I am therefore assuming I have not removed all of it. Has anyone out there done this and can they confirm that you need hands like a 5 year old to access and change the bulbs or have I just not removed what I should have.

I too, need to know how to get access to bulbs to change them, did you ever figure this out?
