mits007
Hi there, My battery cover panel is looking a bit worse for wear (looks like the exhaust heat is getting to it - bubbles in paintwork) There appears to be some sponge on the inside of the panel which is making it protrude more than what I would say is usual.... Is this sponge OEM or has it been placed by some ruff bugger in the past?!?!.. Any1 else have this problem?.. regards, -Mits-
Ttaskmaster
Errr..... I don't recall there being any sponge inside my panel. If it's dead square and dead straight, it's likely OEM. If not..... I see no reason not to rip it off. So long as the panel re-attaches snugly. I can't recall - Do you have custom pipes? That could be yer problem...... mits007
nope - standard pipes, sponge appears to be a "nice square piece" - gonna rip it off anyway... hopefully will cure it...
