i dont know if anyone else has heard but i've just received an email from the Auf Pet site...(big fan you see been a geordie and that) it appears Pat Roach has unfortunately passed away after 3 hard years of trying to fight the Big C.

My respects go out to all concerned and out of respect i'm gonna do an Auf Pet watch-a-thon tonight..and watch all 4 series :cry: .

That's sad, the end of an era. When I lived in London Jimmy Nail used to live in my road and we used to see the odd actor from the series around and about.

that was one of my fav things on telly. sorry to hear pat has died if only they'd show more things like that on tv still, it's crap now

:cry: sad news that,i was not a big fan of the new series but the old one i could watch it over and over again and still find it funny.
