Posted October 10, 200915 yr anyone know how to reset oil inspect/change oil on an XT125R 2009 bike [same unit is on xt125x] , it counts milage down to warn you the oil is ready for changing and flashes on and off when you turn on the ignition , after you have changed the oil it needs resetting so it can start the count down to the next oil change .
January 17, 201015 yr anyone know how to reset oil inspect/change oil on an XT125R 2009 bike [same unit is on xt125x] , it counts milage down to warn you the oil is ready for changing and flashes on and off when you turn on the ignition , after you have changed the oil it needs resetting so it can start the count down to the next oil change . Just keep the mode button pressed in on near the clutch side lever and switch on ignition. Keep the button pressed in for about 13 or so seconds and the screen will reset. This works on my 2007 model so I think should also work on other models.
