Ive got a 2000 tw 125,when you push the starter button there is a spark at the plug for 5 or six times then nothing,take thumb off the button and it sometimes starts,push button and it sparks again for five or six times. bump start it and it runs as sweet as a nut,any body any ideas? ive fitted new plug and done usual checks,battery etc. wal

Could sound like your battery needs a charge. After charging it, refit and see if bike will start. If the problem reoccurs, either the battery i dead, or something is draining the power.

had a similar problem with my 1999 tw125 i changed the started soilinoid £40 down the drain but then checked my battery and the earth side had a bad connection ... to bad to recover and a new battery sorted it all out
