dunc
New to the forum and I was hoping for some advice. I have just aquired a tw125 2001 model. clean bike but has a few niggles. The tickover is quite erratic, like its sucking in air. Ive cleaned the carb and am going to seal the carb rubber to the engine to see if this cures it. I would like to set the valve clearances hopefully this may improve the idle speed and start up. Can anyone please tell me the valve clearances. there are 2 wires connected to the carb, what are they for. what is the rubber bung in the end of the exhaust for, is it a restrictor and if removed will the bike go better.as it doesnt seem to pull very well and feels quite flat. Hopefuly someone can help. Regards Chris
