hey guys

i just bought a 1988 yamaha DT 50 LC and i was wondering if you guys know how to get her to go a lil faster ?

i would love to slap on a bigbore kit but i cant seem to find any

would a stock cylinder from a DT80LC fit ?

or anything else you can suggest (short of trading her in for a 250)

fit a different expansion chamber and exhaust, change the front sprocket to a larger one or the rear sprocket to a smaller one, replace the reeds with performance ones.

i got a set of reeds on order, they should be here next week

as for the sprockets, i was actually gonna do the exact opposite, put a smaller on up front

it would make my gears shorter and allow me to pull higher revs in 6th gear

(i figured it make not make me faster but it would get me there quicker)

also, any idea where to find a expansion chamber ?

i tried googling for them but no luck
