Posted October 3, 200915 yr I have a 1977 yz80d with a cracked cylinder head. I found a new cylinder head but its for a 1978 model. Does anyone know if the 1978 cylinder will fit on my 1977 model? Please help?
October 8, 200915 yr Why not just bring your old one and compare the two? If they are the same, you should be fine. Make sure to measure your piston and measure the "new" cylinder for the correct clearance as well.
