2007 YZF600R won't idle. This bike has low miles(1,785). I've tried running both 87 octane and 91 octane. In my opinion, this bike has always idled rough. This motorcycle was bought new. I've tried taking it back to the dealer several times. They tell me to keep riding it. It will smooth out. Also, they gave me some Yamaha ring free fuel treatment to put in the gas tank. The bike will idle around 600rpm but it's barley running. When I try to turn the idling adjustment screw up it stalls. The bike runs smooth at highway speeds except for an occasional backfire. I've had the bike serviced once since I bought it. I guess I need to take it back to the dealer, now that it is out of warranty and pay 400-500 bucks to get this problem fixed....

Check the petrol tank breather tube isn,t kinked or blocked, also backfiring can be a result of unburnt fuel in exhaust,is it running rich?take the plugs out and see what colour they are they should be a tan colour ,if they are black its running rich,if white its weak, better still take it back and make them put it right ,.
