Hi,

Had the head off my FZR foxeye - all back together & fired it up yesterday - running only on cylinders 1, 2 & 3 but not 4.

Changed the plug on cylinder 4 tonight but still no joy.

Checked & re-checked all connections.

Any ideas would be appreciated ?

Is there actually a spark at plug 4? If not it may be as simple as replacing the plug cap on the HT lead or at worst, the coil.

Thanks - checked spark on cylinders 3 & 4 with a diode - good spark on both !?

I don't understand why cylinder 4 won't fire ?

what about a compression test? valves arnt opening or closing properly? have you seen the cylinder 4 spark plug spark? have you ran the bike then taken the number 4 spark plug out and checked that there's petrol on it?
