mkrh2009
Hi there, I have a PW80 which is using lots of fuel. There is a thin plastic tube running off the carb and it seems to be losing lots of fuel via this. Any ideas? Thanks
up.yours
by using the plastic end of a screw driver lightly tap the side of the carb ,if you know what a carb is, the float needle may have stuck causing it to stick open ,sometimes called flooding, hope it works for ya. mkrh2009
Thanks for the prompt response. If it is stuck open is this a sign that the valve needs replacing or cleaning?
mkrh2009
I forgot to mention, there is another issue with the bike, there is a piece of metal on the rear sproket and it is held on by 2 bolts however one of the bolts has disintergrated which made the piece of metal get trapped in the spokes until i bent it back. What is this? Should i replace it?
