i received this info concerning the DT400, which i have my eye on, i'm bearing in mind that he's trying to sell me an XL250, but just wondering what your thoughts are on the following... "I'm not sure if it's a poorly designed voltage regulator or vibration,or both, but I used to work at a Yamaha shop and we did a brisk buisiness in regulators and bulbs for them. They are known for overcharging the electrical system and blowing all the bulbs, even the instrument bulbs. It can be annoying and expensive.

-The Yamaha 400 is a cool bike, I've owned three motocross versions, but they vibrate too much for road use. The four stroke XL250 is much smoother and the motor should outlast the DT's by a good margin.
