Hi Guys,

I have a R125 on a 2008 plate, which has covered little over 3000 miles.

Does anyone know when the service is due? it did have its original one i think at 600miles.

Also how often shouldl the chain be lubricated?

Thanks in advance.

Hello there. I'm going by the YBR125 service schedule here, so I'm not too sure if the YZF is the same. I had my original at 600, then another at 1,000 and now I've literally just hit 2,000 miles and is booked in for it's third service on Monday. As the bike you have has had a new engine, I think the services are to clear out filters/clear out the gearbox debris and such.

Hi, Samuk , your second service is at 3500 miles.

The chain must be lubricated every 600 miles, and after washing your bike , and/or driving under the rain.

You got to control roominess and alignment of the chain, as well as the general state.Adjust and lubricate with chain oil.

That is what the service manual says.I´ve got it in spanish.

;)
