Posted September 4, 200915 yr Right when I wahed my bike today the rear wheel has a bit of play when shaked (right side movement) Is it just the bushes I need replaced or is something else needed. I have Michelin Pilot Road 2's fitted 120 and 180 on rear, can I put on a 190 on the rear? will it handle different? When riding I can hear like a ping noise, only when riding and not when idling. Its a weird noise kinda like..sounds like its coming from the engine, dunno if its the spark plugs etc.. Riding 0-120+ seems ok no sluggish, or bogging down though. Best type of pads on this bike, are carbon lorraine any good? Any help on the above would be appreciated. Thanks

September 8, 200915 yr hi mate, i have a yzf 750 sp and my rear wheel bearings went, i heard a metallicy noise and felt rumbling up me legs, so that could be ur noise. no movement in a roller type bearing is good mate and you really dont want to be riding it like that. remove ur rear wheel and get the numbers off the bearings (i changed all 3]. its a really easy job if you have half a clue. [the rear hubnut is 32mm, and should be retorqued to 190nm] DONT pay through the nose on maindealer prices, go onto a bearing specialist site type in the numbers of the bearings and hey presto a 1/4 of the price! oh and be carfull of getting the copper bush in the centre of the cush drive bearing out, its fragile, knock it out with the right size socket. as for 190 section ive heard it has been done, there seems to be plenty of space, different makes different widths? not sure of the ridability factor. let me know on the brake pads, why not fit a nice set of wavy disks aswell? oooh
