hi all right ive had my dt 125r engine fully rebuilt! was just wondering whats the best way to run the new piston in? cheers

Gently, and with care

Iv always been told to take it easy for roughly 500miles, so no heavy accelerating or high end reving as it might seize, hth

ok :) does it really take 200 miles to run it in cheers?

If thats what it says on the Yamaha tin ;)

to start you should let it idle for 10 minutes. then take it easy, but be sure to do that first as an initial break in.
