Hey ya'all, I have an 81 Virago XV750. Most of the time when I start it it makes a HORRIBLE grinding sound then eventually stops. Somebody told me that it was because it has plastic gears or plastic something in there. Can somebody please tell me what the hell this guy was talking about or if you know what makes it grind like that?

    Yeh deffinatly a Starter issue - not dissengaging by the sounds of it ..
