i recently bought a 1975 xs500 and am currently working on the carbs but i cant find a rebuild kit for this model. are there any other carb kits from diff models that i can use interchangeably? and i also noticed that most of the rebuild kits don't come with external hardware...ie screws and washers...is there any place i can find these?

Didn't find ny one that did external bits thought.

Best bet would be to buy a refurbished set, have seen a few on ebay.

Think the c&d carbs should work fine they are better than the b models, but check the inlet fittings.

hey thanks for the help! actually upon closer inspection i found out the bike is a tx500 and i was able to find the kits on loudfastugly.com.
