Hi,

Just wondered if it is possible to change over the pistons and block from a xs400 on to a xs250 engine? Will it fit through the engine caseing? Would the head off the 250 fit the 400 block or would it have to be changed. Would the dome sphere in the 250 head have to be made bigger to allow for the 400 pistons or will it fit straight on without problem.

Are there any other problems that might arise from this conversion.

OR

Is it best to just get a complete 400 head (easier option I know but have the 250 here already but want that bit more power).

Thanks,

morgan105 B)

the engine casings are the same, but you will need barrels, pistons, head (inc valves), cam cover and bs34 mikuni carbs/manifolds/air trunking. all the rest will suffice!
