Yamaha41
Hello Just got back into biking and bought a 1995 YZF750r. took it for the first time above 8000 rpm and it started choking. then came to stop on a busy bit of road. Manage to start it after 10 mins with no throttle. Kept it under 8000rpm al the way home - no problem. Is it the EXUP ?? Any Ideas?
EwOkIE
on mine if it struggles by 60-65mph its an exup fault, probably a cable fault or valve seized at the bottom
Moderator Airhead Posted November 1, 2009 Moderator Share Posted November 1, 2009 Could it be fuel starvation due to a blocked tank vent causing a vacuum in the tank? open the filler cap to eliminate this as a possibility. ...Paul
