neil3025 Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 Hi, New user here so hi to everyone. I have a problem with my DTR that I am hoping someone can give me a few directions to go in. I am not unknowledgeable about bikes but I am hoping for some fresh input so thanks in advance. Its a 1997, spark plug sparking ok, seems to be getting fuel through to the spark plug, seems to fire when throttle is 3/4 open but still not starting. Hi, a simple idea from a simple mind; try pre-warming the plug and don't forget the choke-- you've not mentioned whether it's on or off. Good luck, Jay.
