operationcougar Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Just wanted to share my XS400R Pic with everyone, as when i got this bike there wasn,t enough pics that could be dug up on the net. Dont hate on me for cutting this thing up, I felt it was all for the better. Granted that the headlight does suck at highway speeds at night. I bought this bike non running, and hadnt been plated since 88. The gas tank had more internal growth then a 25000BC cavern, It has 11K miles and it was laid down pretty hard on the left side and at least dropped a couple times on the right as well. the picture is from a few months ago and a few other things have changed, mainly hand grips, and controls (it now sports some custom "cut up" 3 finger levers) I have a set of mild black drag bars to be here early this next week, and some lower profile IRC tires. Also i have a set of front forks that im going to sleeve, in order to lower them and add some stiffness, also once the rear tire is added im going to lower the back end accordingly.
