Posted August 7, 200915 yr Hello Its good to find this forum, I just bought an 1976 XS 500 for my wife which has been sitting for a number of years but seems to be complete and kicks through nice. Ive changed the oil and fixed the carb issues now Im just down to getting the points straightened out an collecting a few missing parts (least thats what Im hoping for) Ive been riding for a number of years Mostly Harley's and Triumphs and I look forward to expanding my knowledge of yet another new breed of bike.
August 7, 200915 yr welcome josh ,i had one er them 18 years ago,my mates thought it was crap,but their not,they all hadCD175s N C90s who were they to call anything,hope she has many good rides out.
