Posted August 4, 200915 yr I have a 03 reg dtr 125 Just had a rebore and piston and rings went out on it yesterday and it was fine at first some noise running ok then started to cough and splutter so I thought some muck must have got into the carb took it off gave it a quick clean put it back on then it ran very poorley for about 20 meters then cut out seemed as if was misfiring checked the spark all good great compression I Took the carb apart to clean properly put back on still wont start any ideas people oh and is the cut off switch ment to prevent the spark as mine sparking with it in the off position ??
