YB100 Carb

Hi All,

i'm just about to take the carb off my yb100 to check float settings and make sure its clean, i'm still having problems getting over 45 mph out of it, my question is how do i know if the floats are set right, i have a spare carb with a broken bowl but i cant see any marks to tell me where the fuel line is if there is one, a local bike mechanic told me to bend the tab till the petrlo was half way up the chevrons ? there are no marks at all in the carb bowl.
