Will '88 Fzr 600 fairings fit '88 fzr 400?

Hi all,

I was hoping someone who might have done this could confirm:

Would the side fairings (and nose) from the 1988 fzr 600 directly fit the 1988 fzr 400?

I have been struggling to get hold of fairings for my '88 fzr 400 1wg 3EN1 genesis as pictured below:

The following two images are of fairings for the 1988 fzr 600 and they look near identical. I am unsure if they would be a direct fit

In this first picture the mount points and air vents appear in the same place as the fzr 400

In this picture the mounting points also look as if they are in the correct place

I know many other parts are a direct fit between the two models but am I clinging to false hope that this could be so easy?!!

Any advice greatly appreciated

Alternatively, anyone got the fairings for a 1988 fzr 400 for sale?!
