If your bike is running ok the CDI is working,otherwise substitute for a known working unit. Your bike doesn`t have an EXUP valve on it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I havent had time to investigate yet but bike symptoms sound identical to those mentioned in the following thread. EXUP Revs ok when static, struggles when under load. Also hard to start.
