Posted July 20, 200915 yr So, my saga with the SR 250 continues. It keeps on cutting out. Have booked a mechanic to take a look at it. In the meanwhile, can someone please tell me how to connect the cdi directly to the coil. bypassing all the bad word cables. I want to leave light/horn/tun signals as they are, just want to make sure the CDI has a good (read direct) connetion to the coil. Please help, I'm about to cry already
August 1, 200915 yr Moderator there should be a live connection to the coil from the cdi. so you need to find that. Don't fire without a spark plug fitted as yam says it damages the cdi box.
