Posted July 19, 200915 yr hi, i have a 1998 yzf750 sp, im lookin into fitting a extended swinging arm as i use the bike for 1/4 mileing. i was wondering if the early r1 arm is the same, the bracing and the chain sliders look identical but wasnt sure about mounting hole dimensions etc. i know the r1 runs a 190 section tyre where mine is a 180, will my wheel just slot in? im looking for this info as i think i have more chance of finding an r1 extended arm on ebay than the a yzf type, i dont want to spend 750 quid on a jmc item if i dont have to. tightass any help much appreciated.
