Posted July 17, 200915 yr Just bought 1977 TY 250 engine number 493-200477. My Clymer manual for DT/MX bikes 1977 to 1983 doesn't list any numbers that look like this one. Also the pictures of the 2 stroke singles don't seem to match mine. I would like to know if this engine is a hybrid or is it the same as the DT250 series and if there is a manual out there for the TY series. Meade
