A slight accident on my own bike whilst sitting the cbt has left my spedometer fully operational but the front casing and screen is cracked. Luckily I came off the worst bruising both my left arm and confidence.

I have since passed my CBT and I'm now looking to repair the damage.

Is there any recomended solutions that I could attempt at home?

Besides a dealer or am auction site is there any recomedations on where to go for spares?

bringing up an old topic i have the same problem ive cracked the speedometer casing, my local bike dealer said you cant order the little "pringle top" casing he said you have to order the whole part :S

If that is too expensive -> why not buy a used part? eBay (germany) is full of odometers for the ybr (or from similar products).

I have mounted a windscreen. Hopefully it will preserve the odometer from being damaged in case of an accident...
