Moderator drewpy Posted July 1, 2009 Moderator Share Posted July 1, 2009 thought I'd tweek my ignition timing with the strobe and the tick over went down. started raising it and it felt a bit stiff, all of a sudden the thread let go and know I've stripped the fine thread on the carb body AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!! luckily I've got a spare body ( unlike mine) but I'll have to restore it if its going on me bike.
