Posted July 1, 200916 yr Moderator thought I'd tweek my ignition timing with the strobe and the tick over went down. started raising it and it felt a bit stiff, all of a sudden the thread let go and know I've stripped the fine thread on the carb body AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!! luckily I've got a spare body ( unlike mine) but I'll have to restore it if its going on me bike. MORAL: don' piss about with something if it ain't broken, as it soon wil be there got that off my chest
