Posted June 30, 200915 yr Hi All, I need a new rear tyre and am unsure what size I can go up to. Obviously I want to make it look a little more sportier with a fatter tyre. The size on there now is 160/60/18 is this the biggest I can go to. Regards Jay

Regards Jay That would depend on how wide the wheel is,by runnig that size tyre i assume that you are running a wheel off a FZR1000 which is 4.5 inches wide,that would be the ideal size for that wheel.You can fit a 170 if you can get hold of one. If you are running a standard wheel 3.5 in wide that is far too big and would give major stability problems
