marbar2k
Hi everyone, I have a 600 Thundercat on a S plate. I have a problem with my front calipers. Some of the pistons are jammed. It looks like the dust seals have perished and are jammed between the caliper and piston. I have ordered a new set of seals. As some of the pistons are stuck in I tried to pump them out but on piston flew out and I lost all fluid. I took the calipers off to try and blow them out with an air line but they are stuck. I have not gone back to trying to pump them out. This is my next problem. When i was trying to blow them out with the air line I took the pipe off that links each side of the caliper when I have connected them back this pipe leaks on both sides. Are they sealed with something? I could not see any seal on them, should there be some kind of thread lock on them? If i can sort this leak I should hopefully be able to pump them out. marbar2k
I have tightened the pipe up as much as possible and I am still getting a leak. I dont want to tighten anymore incase it strips. Do you think a bit of thread lock might seal it?
