Hi guys

My FZR hasnt been moved for a few weeks.

I dragged it out today and it started without too much fuss so I was very happy.

Kicked up the side stand... no problem.

Knocked it into first... clutch held in and it pulls forward.

Apply the brake.. its stalls.

It seems like the clutch is slipping slightly so when i brake to hold it stationary it cuts out.

Is this just because its been stood, or do I need to break out the tools?

Cheers Pete

If it was ok before you parked it there may be a couple of plates just stuck. Ride the bike some and pull the clutch in while moving and ride till it comes loose. This is best done in a higher gear (not fast). It usually only takes a few moments.

Might be ok when it's warmed up too and the oil's had a chance to work through the plates anyway. What Tyler said sounds good. If it persists, you might need to have a look at the plates.
