What's up all, been a Yamaho owner/avid fan for years now, just found this forum whilst looking for information on some dirtys.

Basically I'm looking to downgrade in the power dept. Not permanently mind you, but I've just realized that my riding style needs a little check and balance now and then. I feel that my R1 may need some garage time, and I could spend some seat miles on a sumo.

I have an opportunity to purchase a YZ426F for a pretty decent price, and would convert it to street /sumo duty quite easily, only I need to insist on electric start for street duty, so my question is:

How difficult is it to add the electric start from a WR426 to a YZ426F? Is it just a matter of adding an assembly, wiring and switchgear, or does it require new cases/internals which would make the idea loony?

If you want to see some of our "morning rides" check out www.youtube.com/fasyankee all the onboard is me, there's even a trackday compilation!
