Posted June 14, 200915 yr Hi all am newbie so please excuse. Went to look at a second hand r125 today and noticed that the number plate was alot higher from the rear wheel than originally sold in the shop. The number plate is the original and I was wondering if there are any mods to the rear of the bike that do this as he said it is standard. Many thanks.
June 15, 200915 yr cant comment upon the r125 particularly, however as long as the number plate is legal 8"x6" i think, and is secure and there is a reflector it should be okay. Maybe the dealer fitted a tail-tidy for free before he picked it up. If this is the only mod, then that is good, the r125, as with many 125s, seems to be moded frequently, sometimes well, often badly.
June 18, 200915 yr Id the number plate and indicators flush up to the underside of the rear seat? If so its probably coz it has one of those tail tidy things. Not too sure tho.
