alec2507 Posted June 14, 2009 Share Posted June 14, 2009 Morning all, i done the fork oil seals on my yb100 last weekend, took it out for a run yesterday and it felt hard on the front end, have i put too much fork oil in (approx 160mls) or not enough i didn't fill it right up it was about 2cm from top, regards alec Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fosdyke Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Sounds like there is too much fork oil - I know its a pain but I would remove them and empty the oil into a clean container and measure how much you have got - you should have around 320ml. uzi_999 Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 just a quick question.. not that i need to know as for now, but how does one change fork oil?? do the seals just rip out, pour oil, and plonk a new set of seals on? thought id ask, rather than getting a pair of long nose pliers to my forks!
