June 6, 200915 yr Fresh piercings will always be soar, and moreso when you have a helmet on, you'll jut have to live with it for a few weeks. It's really only painfull when taking it on and off, just go slow and easy.
June 6, 200915 yr fine i have a 3cm spike (doble sided spike) through my ear and a loop at the top and dont get any problems
