V Star 650 exhaust modification

I got an 08 v star 650 looking to modify the exhaust need more noise been looking at new pipes (hard krome) but there expensive are they worth the money or do the mods i read about really work?any body out there got a set the one's i'm looking at are 2 1/2 strippers.

Yes, modified pipes make your bike LOUDER.

Won't really make it go faster, though. No point on a Cruiser, anyway.

Personally, I advise making sure you re-jet it as well.

That's what i was wondering, i went to the ROT bike rally in Austin this weekend and heard some bikes like mine with aftermarket pipes so i bought some v&h cruizers (they sounded really good) , a jet kit and a k&n filter. I ain't got the need for speed anymore just want ignorant drivers to hear me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks
