June 3, 200915 yr I have just brought a 70cc barrel and that for my Aerox and was woundering how many miles i will have to do to run it in Hi, I would guess zero miles asuming the rest of the engine is ok & the new bore has the correct clearences, if they are a bit tight (clearences) run it steadyish for about 50mile (or until the wine from the bore dissappers) or if loose (the norm) dont bother you just may get some mechanical noise but no detriment to the motor Regards Jim
August 19, 200915 yr id say do 30mph for 50 miles, then 35mph for another 50 miles, and finally do 40mph for 200 miles. but to what that other guy said i had a polini 70cc kit, done 30mph for 100 mile and after that full throtteled for about 50 miles and it blew, my friend also had a polini 70cc kit and done the same and his head gasket went.
