Hi all,

Ive just got my sticky paws on an old '81 XJ550. Not too bad but runs a bit lumpy and there are the inherant clutch noises and the odd oil leak, as you would expect from a bike this age.

Im hoping to rebuild her as soon as I can, and modify her in a few ways, prob streetfighter her a bit.

I thought I would join this forum as it looks a good place for info, and maybe even sourcing parts. Thanks for having me !

I had an 82 XJ550 once. Good bike for sure it just was not fast enough to suit me.
