i have a problem with my Yamaha aerox / yq50

it makes a screeching noise above 10 mph and is alot louder than the engine, plus the engine its pretty loud

i was wondering if anybody knew the cause of this or how to fix it

baring in mind the bike is only 5 days old and has done around 450 miles

i wouldn't be to bothered really because the bike goes in for service Monday-Tuesday but its the fact i rode back from Matlock today and the bike was embarrassing to ride on with the noise

and i didn't expect to be annoyed because my bike didn't work after 5 day !

thanks anyway, if anyone has any suggestions what the cause is or how to fix please let me know

Found out the problem off of the main deal and it is apparently the front wheel bearing so if anyone has a problem that could be the cause :)

Yeah the problem happened again.

So they seemed to have fixed it now, with a new front wheel.

so thats what i would advise if the prob happens to anyone else, just get a new wheel on it

The only time i had a screeching noise on my bike was the kick start cog grinding away, when putting the bike the dealers might have put the variator togther wrong, because that what happened when i did lol.:D
