lol i am i have a 1983 yamaha maxim and it runns good and idels fine but once you rev it up like 3 or 4 times gas will start to shoot out of the carbs into the intake box and it will countinue to shoot as long as you run it the only way to get it to stop is to cut the bike off what could be causing this

note: also after you cut if off and crank it back up it will runn fine until you rev it agin and then the gas starts to poor out agin

You need to fully overhaul the carbs.

does the bike run ok or have you got a bike that will start & not pull away ?

try useding a screwdriver to tap on the carb blow see if it stops it maby the FLOAT NEEDLE VALVE STICKING
