Posted May 27, 200915 yr Hey there everyone. I have just purchased another FZ400 (well i'm hoping thats what it is) The problem that I have is the log book I was given for the bike does not state what model it is. It states that it was imported in 1994. It also shows that is a 1985 model. The only thing that it says about the bike is that it is yamaha 400cc bike. Why doesn't it show what model it is? I'm curious to know whether it IS an FZ or an FZR? Any help much appreciated Phil 4 wheels moves your body - 2 wheels moves your soul !
May 27, 200915 yr if you could upload a picutre and maybe the VIN/Chassis/Engine numbers it would make it easier to identify

May 28, 200915 yr 1985 model is an fz, fzr were 87 t0 96 according to the haynes manual in front of me
