Hi everyone, I'm new to this club and new to Yamaha's so i hope someone can help me with a question i have. I've had my 99 R1 for about 4 weeks now but only rode it at night for the first time yesterday. Problem is the speedo doesn't light up. The rev counter dose and all the warning LED's work as they should but the digital speed display has no back lighting.

Is this a common fault people have seen?? The bike has had angle eye light fitted into the headlights but this seems to have been done very well so don't think it would have affected anything.

Any help would be great.

    Configure browser push notifications
