Hi just put the rad back on my thunderace after stripping the bike down for a thorough clean.The temp gauge does not seem to be working,any suggestions on where to start.

Have you knocked the connector? are the wires still attached ?

I don't know these bikes at all, but that's where I'd start - the temp sender is usually located in the rad somewhere.
